Drywall Removal Service

Properly disposing of drywall is governed by strict regulations, and navigating these can often be time-consuming and complex. If you’ve ever dealt with drywall removal before, you’re likely familiar with the challenges, especially when there are so many other tasks to manage during your project.

At First Choice, we specialize in drywall removal and ensure that the process is handled efficiently and responsibly. We make it a priority to recycle drywall in compliance with all regulations, while providing a service that is both timely and cost-effective.

*Please note that we can only accept drywall that is date-stamped 1990 or newer.

Any drywall stamped before 1990 (or if it lacks a date stamp) will require testing.

Drywall Recycling Tips

1. When dealing with new drywall, all we need is a clear date stamp indicating when the drywall was manufactured. Some offcuts may not have the stamp, so it’s best to save a piece (with the stamp) and set it aside for reference.

2. If you’re removing old drywall from a residential or commercial property, we recommend having a piece tested to ensure that the drywall you’re working with does not contain asbestos.

3. Separating materials like wood, metal, and plastic from your scrap drywall is best practice. This ensures that these materials are recycled and disposed of separately, helping to minimize waste.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These two gentlemen arrived on time and were professional during the process. One minor miscommunication was one section of the junk was not quoted even though I did point out to get rid off. But overall they did a good job.
